We would like to thank you all for your for your love and support. You have been a blessing for us.

God Bless,
Nokie & Judy Edwards

Happy Thanksgiving to all our fan family and friends...
We pray for happiness and great health for you all. Nokie and I are grateful for all your support and your prayers throughout the previous year. Thank you for your support in standing by on your merchandise orders when the shipping became much slower because of not being able to attend the office as usual. Even when your orders arrived at your door late or there was a issue, you allowed us to take time to fix the problem. This is true support for the Nokie Edwards International Fan Club. Both Nokie and I have been blessed by all of you standing by our side.

We have had great response from many regarding Nokie's newly written song "Thundering Tank 331". It is a powerful song and the response from overseas is huge. Thank you for all your comments. Knowing that you are still enjoying Nokie's music is what generates the most power in this household. Best medicine we could have ever asked for! We are blessed to have each of you as Nokie Fan Family. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!...
Nokie & Judy Edwards

Tour Update...
We were hit by a heavy typhoon last night and this morning. Now after 7 am we still are getting heavy winds and some rain in side areas. Our departure this morning has been delayed until around noon. We will be traveling behind the Typhoon to our next area headed to Iwate Prefecture, Kanegasaki City. Our prayers go out to the Philippine earth quake victims and Japan devastation. Nokie and I are OK. Packed and ready to go to see the Iwate and Yamagata area Zaou and Hakutaka City area Nokie and Venture fans. Following the typhoon out of Tokyo at noon will give us safe travel to Iwate City. We will give an update when possible. God Bless... Nokie & Judy

Sad News...
Our drummer Tommy Wells passed away recently. He was one of the nicest men you would ever want to meet and an awesome drummer. The band members are like a family. As a team they have put out some of the most beautiful music with Nokie. Nokie always knew the guys would be there for him. They did 1-2 CD's for 20 years and twice did box sets. We just don't understand why things happen sometimes. Tommy was one of the most healthiest and athletic people we know. Our prayers go out to the Wells family and friends. You will always live on in your music and friends. We will miss you Tommy! You can Google Tommy Wells, you will be amazed at what an awesome drummer he was.  God Bless You Tommy, Nokie & Judy

Friends Dear...
Nokie had the pleasure of long-time friends visit him at the CAAS this year. Mr. David Frizzell joined Nokie, along with Thom Bresh, Jim Nichols and Rich Eckhardt, lead guitarist for Toby Keith. A stage full of great players and a power house singer like David, what else could you ask for! David also told us about a new addition to his family!

Hospital and Home Care...
We are pleased to announce that Judy and I feel that my health has progressed enough for me to go back to work more fully now. We are so blessed to have the support that our family, fan family and friends have given us. I have been blessed with the ability to go back out and do what I love... MUSIC! If we don't speak the language in other countries, Judy always says my music speaks for us. God Bless each of you and thank you for all your help in supporting myself and Judy though two hospitalizations in Japan. You have helped us get back home to my home care in the USA and back on our feet. We have been back on the road since last month and we hope to be performing for many years to come. As long as you want to hear me play, I will continue to write and play music for you. Again, a big thank you to my fan family, friends and love ones and to MusicCares out of Nashville. No other care program or Medicare program including the Native American Indian Medical Program would help us with any of my hospital bills from Japan. We hope to have the second hospital bill paid after some more work on the road. Here's hoping the good Lord will keep us safe and healthy. Thank you and God Bless you all... Nokie & Judy Edwards

More Sadness...
Johnny Smith, celebrated jazz guitarist, died June 11th at his home in Colorado. He was 90 years old. His composition "Walk, Don't Run" recorded in 1954 would later be covered by Chet Atkins. It was Chet's version that would ultimately inspire The Ventures to record their mega hit of the same name in 1960. We are very sad about this great guitarist's passing... Nokie & Judy

Much Sadness...
While on tour in Japan we learned of a dear friend who passed on June 4th, 2013, Frank W. Greenhaw, husband to Patricia and father to Art Greenhaw (Light Crust Doughboys). We love the whole family very much and it breaks our hearts to hear this news. Please click here to learn more about this great man... Love, Nokie & Judy

Wonderful Time...
We had a great time at Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio being able to see our extended family the Veluzat it is always a great time for us. We miss them so when we are away from them. We had our sister Linda and cousin Pat Baily with us, plus the Clawson's from Florance, OR, Gary, Carole, Amy and Darby. Some of you know Dennis & Elene Bogle (Bob Bogle's brother), also it was great to see Roy from Montana for the first time for the Cowboy Festival. Arnold stopped in to enjoy the Festival for a short time.

Thank you Reno for the great picture of Arnold and Nokie in the office at Melody spending some time together. Nokie always enjoys having a chance to say hello to Arnold. Also we had (Grizzly Adam's) Dan Haggerty with us for signing in Kitty's Saloon on the main streets of Gunsmoke. Spending time with Joanna Smith (William Smith's) wife was a lot of fun for me. Sunday evening after folding up shop we attended the Veluzat's "Valley Church" it was a great sermon and Amy Clawson sang for us lifting all of us up from our seats. It couldn't have been more powerful than it was that evening in the Valley Church. Watch our web site soon for information of shows twice a month that Nokie will be doing at Melody Ranch. They will have tickets on sale soon for these events. Enjoy the picture and I will try to get more up soon for your enjoyment. Nokie is doing good so start marking your calendars for his shows. He is so happy to be able to go back to playing music for the friends and fans. A very big thank you to sister Linda and Pat for their help with selling the merchandise during the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. Hope to see you at Melody for the up coming shows... God Bless Everyone, Judy

Nokie to Start Touring Again Soon!
We would like to let our fan family know we are doing much better and Nokie will start his touring again possibly by late June. Nokie will do a signing at the Cowboy Festival in mid-April... Judy Edwards

Nokie and Judy Travel to Seattle, Washington...
Nokie and Judy, via a sponsored trip, recently traveled to the Hard Rock Cafe in Seattle, WA to attend Don Wilson's 80th birthday party on February 10th! They had a great time meeting with old and new friends and celebrating Don's great milestone!

Unfortunately Nokie and Judy are recovering from the flu after their trip and graciously ask for fans to give them time to catch up to correspondence and merchandise orders which have fallen behind as a result. They thank you for your patience.... [NEFC Webmaster]

Mr. William Owens Sr. Has Gone to Picker's Heaven...
William Jr called to let us know. Please watch the obituary's for his funeral services announcement. His service will be held in Grants Pass, OR. God Bless you William Sr. and the Owens family.

Many of you know Tom Jensen and Mrs. Jones...
They have been very long time friends of ours from Brownsville, OR. Our family is close and they have been like family to us for many years. Mrs. Jones passed this last week. Please watch the Brownsville paper and or the Register Guard for the announcement of her services. Mrs. Jones was a big music lover and an awesome stand up bass player. Tom being a guitar player, bass player and steel player, they entertained many people all over the states. Mrs. Jones' kind heart and beautiful smile will live on with me for ever. God Bless Mrs. Jones, Tom and the Jones family.

Please Pray with the Owens Family...
I am asking the fan family and friends to please pray for William Owens Sr. and his family. They are out of Grant Pass OR and are wonderful people with strong family ties. He is a huge music lover and a picker himself. All our prays go out to Willy and his strong family. Here's an excerpt from a letter we got:

"Hi Nokie and Judy it's William. My dad and all my friends call me Willy. My dad Bill is not going to be with us much longer. We are at home and he is comfortable and we watch videos and listen and play music. I thank you for being wonderful people. I was listening to Nokie playing "Pretty Woman", we love your gift it, sounded just like my dad playing. I wish he could have known you and Judy. Then you would know what playing it "Big Willy Style" was like!"

William Jr. told me on the phone that Bill sat straight up in the bed with a big smile on his face when he walked into his father's room and said, "Nokie Edwards was on the phone and wanted to talk to him." It just goes to show how music can make a difference in a person's life. Bill, we never got to meet you face-to-face, but we are every bit there with you in mind and heart. God Bless You Bill and Willy... Nokie and Judy

Nokie Recovery Update: January 28th, 2013...
Dear Friends and Fan Family... Thank you for all the support you have given. Nokie continues to play his guitar with hope of being able to soon be on his way to entertaining the fans again. He has had allot of support from a very close friend to jam on the weekends which has made a huge difference. Besides it's just great to have JD around he is a very long time friend like a brother and a great player as many of you know. In the early 80's Nokie ask JD to take Don's place when he wanted to take some time off with The Ventures. So they are practicing Surf, Rock, Country, Blues and Jazz even hear a little Gospel from time to time. Great to hear these two playing together again. JD has been a awesome brother for Nokie these past few weeks.

Please continue to help support Nokie's Fund by passing this link to your email list, Twitter and FB page. The picture posted on the link site should take you back a few years. I do believe they were good years for many of us. All our best for good health and great happiness for all. God Bless... Nokie & Judy Edwards
