We All
Need a Good Laugh Once and Awhile!... Nokie and Judy
thought you might enjoy this and encourage you to watch Comedy Week on
YouTube starting today May 19th!
Wonderful
Time... We had a great
time at Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio being able to see our
extended family the Veluzat it is always a great time for us. We miss
them so when we are away from them. We had our sister Linda and cousin
Pat Baily with us, plus the Clawson's from Florance, OR, Gary, Carole,
Amy and Darby. Some of you know Dennis & Elene Bogle (Bob Bogle's
brother), also it was great to see Roy from Montana for the first time
for the Cowboy Festival. Arnold stopped in to enjoy the Festival for a
short time.
Thank you
Reno for the great picture of Arnold and Nokie in the office at Melody
spending some time together. Nokie always enjoys having a chance to say
hello to Arnold. Also we had (Grizzly Adam's) Dan Haggerty with us for
signing in Kitty's Saloon on the main streets of Gunsmoke. Spending time
with Joanna Smith (William Smith's) wife was a lot of fun for me. Sunday
evening after folding up shop we attended the Veluzat's "Valley
Church" it was a great sermon and Amy Clawson sang for us lifting
all of us up from our seats. It couldn't have been more powerful than it
was that evening in the Valley Church. Watch our web site soon for
information of shows twice a month that Nokie will be doing at Melody
Ranch. They will have tickets on sale soon for these events. Enjoy the
picture and I will try to get more up soon for your enjoyment. Nokie is
doing good so start marking your calendars for his shows. He is so happy
to be able to go back to playing music for the friends and fans. A very
big thank you to sister Linda and Pat for their help with selling the
merchandise during the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival. Hope to see you at
Melody for the up coming shows... God Bless Everyone, Judy
Nokie to

Travel to Seattle, Washington...
Nokie and
Judy, via a sponsored trip, recently traveled to the Hard Rock Cafe in
Seattle, WA to attend Don Wilson's 80th birthday party on February 10th!
They had a great time meeting with old and new friends and celebrating
Don's great milestone!
Unfortunately
Nokie and Judy are recovering from the flu after their trip and
graciously ask for fans to give them time to catch up to correspondence
and merchandise orders which have fallen behind as a result. They thank
you for your patience.... [NEFC Webmaster]
Mr. William Owens Sr. Has Gone to
Picker's Heaven...
William Jr called to let us know. Please watch the obituary's for his
funeral services announcement. His service will be held in Grants Pass,
OR. God Bless you William Sr. and the Owens family.
Many of
you know Tom Jensen and Mrs. Jones... They have been
very long time friends of ours from Brownsville, OR. Our family is close
and they have been like family to us for many years. Mrs. Jones passed
this last week. Please watch the Brownsville paper and or the Register
Guard for the announcement of her services. Mrs. Jones was a big music
lover and an awesome stand up bass player. Tom being a guitar player,
bass player and steel player, they entertained many people all over the
states. Mrs. Jones' kind heart and beautiful smile will live on with me
for ever. God Bless Mrs. Jones, Tom and the Jones family.
Please Pray with the
Owens Family... I am asking the
fan family and friends to please pray for William Owens Sr. and his
family. They are out of Grant Pass OR and are wonderful people with
strong family ties. He is a huge music lover and a picker himself. All
our prays go out to Willy and his strong family. Here's an excerpt from
a letter we got:
"Hi
Nokie and Judy it's William. My dad and all my friends call me Willy. My
dad Bill is not going to be with us much longer. We are at home and he
is comfortable and we watch videos and listen and play music. I thank
you for being wonderful people. I was listening to Nokie playing
"Pretty Woman", we love your gift it, sounded just like my dad
playing. I wish he could have known you and Judy. Then you would know
what playing it "Big Willy Style" was like!"
William Jr.
told me on the phone that Bill sat straight up in the bed with a big
smile on his face when he walked into his father's room and said, "Nokie
Edwards was on the phone and wanted to talk to him." It just goes
to show how music can make a difference in a person's life. Bill, we
never got to meet you face-to-face, but we are every bit there with you
in mind and heart. God Bless You Bill and Willy... Nokie and Judy

Recovery Update: January 28th, 2013... Dear
Friends and Fan Family... Thank you for all the support you have given.
Nokie continues to play his guitar with hope of being able to soon be on
his way to entertaining the fans again. He has had allot of support from
a very close friend to jam on the weekends which has made a huge
difference. Besides it's just great to have JD around he is a very long
time friend like a brother and a great player as many of you know. In
the early 80's Nokie ask JD to take Don's place when he wanted to take
some time off with The Ventures. So they are practicing Surf, Rock,
Country, Blues and Jazz even hear a little Gospel from time to time.
Great to hear these two playing together again. JD has been a awesome
brother for Nokie these past few weeks.
Please continue to help support Nokie's Fund by passing this link
to your email list, Twitter and FB page. The picture posted on the link
site should take you back a few years. I do believe they were good years
for many of us. All our best for good health and great happiness for
all. God Bless... Nokie & Judy Edwards
